SNG Tree Surveying

SNG Tree Surveying

Since 2021, PBA Consulting Solutions has been surveying trees within Sovereign Network Group properties. Our arboriculturally trained Tree Surveyors carry out proactive and reactive tree inspections for the benefit of residents and users of SNG property.

What Will We Do?

Our primary role is to complete Visual Tree Inspections on a rolling cycle to assess tree safety. Our inspectors use smartphones or tablets that run geographic information software to record information about individual trees. Unfortunately, our inspectors cannot advise residents and will only make recommendations for tree works where there are legitimate tree safety issues or where trees adversely affect property.

What Trees Do We Survey?

Trees can be found in open spaces, along streets, within gardens, and on communal land belonging to flats. Trees are also present in thickets and woodland areas, forming part of property managed by the Sovereign Network group. We aim to record all trees wherever they are on Sovereign land, and this may include trees within the gardens of residential properties.

Trees In Rear Gardens

Our inspectors will want to access your gardens to inspect trees. They will knock on your door if they believe a tree exists in your garden. If you're not in, the inspector will leave a letter asking you to contact us. If you do receive a letter from us, we would appreciate it if you could contact us as soon as possible so we can make arrangements to inspect your trees.

A tree inspection normally takes less than ten minutes and benefits residents as much as Sovereign Network Group.

How to identify our Tree Inspectors

Our tree inspectors typically wear a Hi-Viz vest with PBA Solutions branding. They can produce a letter confirming they work for us as one of our Tree Surveyors on the Sovereign Network Group contract. Additionally, they should have a lanyard with an Identity card. The QR code on the Identity card will take you to this page. From this page, you are welcome to contact us to verify that the person surveying is one of our people.
